• Incase you need a storage facility in your place inform your mover about it.

• Walk around your house to look out for the appliances that you keep outside, like your lawn mower and other things. Clean it and drain the oil out of it.

• Settle your accounts with your service providers like your newspaper man and the cable service providers. You can think about terminating the services.

• If you are packing your stuff yourself, start doing it.

• Call up your mover and update them about your progress.
